By using Open Bible you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Open Bible is a free Bible reader that lets you make highlights and notes on public-domain scripture. It is provided by Demarco Ventures LLC, a single-person company. The service is donation-supported and carries no subscription fee.

Your content

Your notes and highlights belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store them and, where you choose to make them public, to display them to other readers. You can edit or delete your content at any time from your account. Deleting your account removes all of your private content permanently.

Conduct

Public notes are read by other people. Please keep them constructive and on-topic. You may not post content that is:

• Harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any person
• Spam or unsolicited commercial content
• Designed to impersonate another person
• In violation of any applicable law

Account suspension

We may suspend or delete accounts that repeatedly violate these terms. We will try to reach you first if the situation allows it.

Donations

Bitcoin donations are voluntary and non-refundable. They support the ongoing cost of running the service. Donating does not grant any additional features or rights.

Warranty disclaimer

Open Bible is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we make no guarantees of uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose.
